- Mince the cooked beef or lamb.
- Soak the slice of bread in milk and then squeeze out the excess liquid.
- Fry chopped onions in cooking oil until browned.
- Add curry powder to the onions and cook for a few minutes, being careful not to burn.
- Mix the minced meat, bread, and one beaten egg together.
- Whisk the other egg with milk.
- Place the curry mixture into greased cups, then pour some of the egg and milk mixture over each.
- Insert a slice of lemon or a bay leaf into each cup for garnish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.
- Serve in cups with rice and chutney, or bake in a casserole.
