Ingredients

  • 4 large tart apples, sliced
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • grated lemon rind
  • 9-inch pie pan with pie crust

Instructions

  1. Fill the pie crust with the sliced apples, cranberries, raisins, sugar, salt, flour, and grated lemon rind in the order given.
  2. Dot the fruit mixture with butter.
  3. Place a vented pie crust on top of the fruit layer.
  4. Pinch the edges of the top and bottom crusts together to seal.
  5. Bake at 450°F for 40 minutes or until the fruit is tender.
