Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1 1/4 cups cooking oil
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients together: flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients: sugar, eggs, frozen strawberries, cooking oil, and chopped pecans if desired.
  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir carefully.
  4. Turn the batter into two greased loaf pans.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  6. Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
  7. Turn out onto cooling racks and serve.
