Instructions
- Scald cabbage leaves and set aside to cool.
- Combine ground beef, rice, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and milk; mix well.
- Place a tablespoon of meat mixture on each cabbage leaf and roll up.
- Arrange the cabbage rolls in a large kettle, then cover with extra cabbage, sauerkraut, and kraut juice.
- If desired, add extra can of kraut juice, tomatoes, and onion for more flavor.
- Cover and cook over low heat for about 2.5 hours.
