Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. boneless spareribs
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. ground mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Place half the ribs in a slow cooker.
  2. Top with half of the sliced onion.
  3. Repeat layers with the remaining ribs and onion.
  4. Combine ketchup, water, brown sugar, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, salt, and paprika.
  5. Pour the mixture over all the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until the ribs are tender.
