Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 3 to 4 pounds boneless ham

Instructions

  1. Combine brown sugar, honey, and allspice in a small bowl to make the glaze.
  2. Place the ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  3. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the ham, avoiding bone or fat, and add 1/2 cup water to the pan.
  4. Cover the ham with foil or a lid.
  5. Bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 19 to 23 minutes per pound, or until the thermometer registers 135°F.
  6. Remove the cover and spread the glaze over the ham.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Let the ham rest, covered, for about 10 minutes or until the thermometer registers 140°F.
