Ingredients

  • 7 bread slices
  • 1/2 pkg. bacon
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Layer cubed bread in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. Cover the bread with cooked and crumbled bacon.
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, chopped onion, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the layered bread and bacon.
  5. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the mixture.
  6. Drizzle melted margarine over the cheese.
  7. Refrigerate the casserole overnight.
  8. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour until set and golden.
