  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring honey to a boil.
  2. Quickly beat eggs into honey; add butter, vanilla extract, chopped pecans or walnuts, and a dash of nutmeg.
  3. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
  4. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 25 minutes or until the filling is set.
