Ingredients

  • Fritos
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • lettuce, chopped
  • tomatoes, chopped
  • onion, chopped
  • grated cheese
  • hot sauce (picante, pico de gallo, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef along with the seasoning package or add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt to taste.
  2. To prepare each plate, place an amount of Fritos in the center of the dish.
  3. Spoon on some of the cooked meat mixture over the Fritos.
  4. Add warmed beans, chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, grated cheese, and hot sauce on top.
  5. Optional: add avocado dip or black olives for extra flavor.
