Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 3 tsp. chili powder or to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onions in a large skillet, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients: tomato paste, salt, red pepper, chili powder, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and water.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer slowly for about 2 hours.
