Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 cups yellow cornbread mix
  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large grated onion
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped jalapenos
  • 1/2 pound pan sausage

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs slightly.
  2. Blend in milk, cornbread mix, corn oil, cream-style corn, cheddar cheese, grated onion, chopped jalapenos, and fried sausage.
  3. Pour the batter into a well-greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 30 to 40 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Remove from oven immediately to prevent drying out.
