Instructions
- Mince the garlic and slice the onion into thin strips.
- Place the string beans, garlic, onion, and parsley in a shallow baking dish.
- Toss until well mixed.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese, bread crumbs, and shredded mozzarella.
- Pour in balsamic vinegar and olive oil or plain vinegar.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 350°F for approximately 20 minutes, then stir.
- Uncover and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes until the onion and beans are tender.
- Toss with additional bread crumbs if the mixture is too fluid.
- Serve hot or cold.
