Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or sirloin, cubed
  • 1/2 cup onions
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can chicken rice soup
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Fry ground beef with onions until browned.
  2. Add beef bouillon cube and diced celery; cook briefly.
  3. Combine mushroom soup, chicken rice soup, and hot water; bring to a simmer.
  4. Wash rice in cold water, dry thoroughly, then add to the mixture.
  5. Bake uncovered in a 350°F oven for about 1 hour until rice is cooked and flavors meld.
