Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 beaten egg yolk
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • vanilla wafers
  • whipped cream
  • cherries

Instructions

  1. Cream together the sugar and butter.
  2. Add the beaten egg yolk to the mixture.
  3. Stir in the pecans and drained crushed pineapple.
  4. Layer the pecan and pineapple mixture in a dish.
  5. Add a layer of vanilla wafers on top of the mixture.
  6. Repeat layering as desired.
  7. Finish with a layer of whipped cream.
  8. Garnish with cherries before serving.
