Ingredients

  • 2 packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup biscuit mix
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Grease a pie plate.
  3. Rinse frozen broccoli under cold water to thaw; drain thoroughly.
  4. Mix broccoli, 2 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese, and chopped onion.
  5. Pour the broccoli mixture into the prepared pie plate.
  6. In a bowl, beat milk, eggs, biscuit mix, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  7. Pour the milk mixture over the broccoli in the pie plate.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  10. Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
