Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups water or milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and vanilla in a large bowl, then mix together.
  2. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients.
  3. Gradually add the eggs and water/milk into the well, mixing to incorporate.
  4. Include dry ingredients from the sides while mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Place the dough on a floured surface and roll out to desired thickness.
  6. Cut out round cookies from the rolled dough.
  7. Bake in a 325°F (163°C) oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
