Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
  2. Turn stove burner on medium-high heat.
  3. Lightly grease skillet or griddle and when it's hot, pour batter on in pancake form and let brown. Turn only once.
  4. Serve hot with syrup.
  5. Makes 8 to 10 pancakes.
