Ingredients

  • 5 c. flour
  • 5 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/4 c. raisins
  • 5 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients together.
  2. Add eggs, oil, vanilla, and buttermilk to the dry mixture.
  3. Spoon the batter into two well-greased and floured loaf pans.
  4. Bake for 1 hour at 350°F.
