Italian Shell Bake
A hearty Italian baked pasta dish featuring shells filled with ricotta and layered with meat sauce and melted mozzarella, perfect for family dinners and comfort food lovers.

Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until tender.
- Pour off excess fat from the skillet.
- Stir in tomato sauce, garlic salt, oregano, and pepper; simmer.
- While the sauce simmers, cook medium shells according to package instructions; drain well.
- Combine ricotta cheese, 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella, and chopped parsley; mix well.
- Combine cooked shells with meat sauce.
- Place half of the shell and meat mixture into a buttered baking pan.
- Spread cheese filling evenly over the shells.
- Repeat with remaining shells and meat mixture; spread cheese mixture on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the top.
- Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
- Remove cover and bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
