Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 pickled jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 4 ounces light cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 green onion, cut into 1-inch lengths
  • 4 ounces plain goat cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Fold a 6-inch piece of aluminum foil in half; fold the edges up to make a tray.
  3. Place walnuts, chili powder, and cumin in the tray; place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the nut mixture for 6 minutes, until fragrant and beginning to darken.
  5. Let cool.
