Crispy, creamy hashbrown casserole bursting with cheese, sour cream, and a crunchy Rice Krispie topping—comfort food perfect for family dinners or potluck gatherings on day.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • 2 cups longhorn or colby cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2/3 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2/3 cup margarine, melted
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients except Rice Krispies and 1/3 cup margarine.
  3. Place mixture in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients and spread over hashbrowns.
  5. Bake 40-45 minutes.
