Ingredients

  • 1 beef roast
  • 6 to 8 potatoes
  • 2 to 3 carrots
  • fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • tortellini with cheese
  • Durkee Grill Creations original beef seasoning
  • Open Pit Brown Sugar and Spice barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef roast into 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. In a skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and brown the beef cubes.
  3. Add Durkee Grill Creations original beef seasoning and Open Pit Brown Sugar and Spice barbecue sauce while browning the meat.
  4. Transfer the browned meat to a crock-pot and add water, chopped potatoes, carrots, and chopped celery.
  5. Cook on High for 6 to 8 hours.
  6. During the last 40 minutes of cooking, add sliced fresh mushrooms and tortellini.
