Ingredients

  • 1 block margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 to 4 medium mashed bananas
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream together margarine and sugar.
  2. Add beaten eggs and mashed bananas. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add baking soda, sifted flour, and chopped nuts. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for approximately 1 hour until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
