Joan's Dirt Cake is a fun, creamy dessert with layers of cookie crumbs, vanilla pudding, and whipped topping, perfect for parties or family gatherings. Kids love it!

Ingredients

  • 2 large pkg Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 small pkg instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 1/2 cups milk
  • 12 oz Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and set aside.
  2. Mix the instant vanilla pudding with milk and chill until thickened.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Fold in the Cool Whip and nuts into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Add the thickened pudding to the cream cheese mixture and combine well.
  6. Layer cookie crumbs, pudding mixture, and additional cookie crumbs in a large glass bowl, starting and ending with crumbs.
  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
