Ingredients

  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup cream-style corn
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
  • 2 hot peppers chopped
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together, except cheese.
  2. Pour half into a hot, greased 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle half of the grated cheese evenly over the batter.
  4. Add the remaining batter into the pan.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake in a 450°F oven for 25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
