Ingredients
- 1/2 cup peanut oil

- 1 large bell pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 4 banana peppers, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) can diced tomatoes with green chili peppers ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped okra
- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled ⓘ

Instructions
- Heat peanut oil in a heavy pot or saucepan.
- Sprinkle flour into the hot oil, stirring constantly to make a roux.

- Add shrimp to the mixture and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning salt.
