Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 frying chicken
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Combine bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped walnuts, and salt in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat eggs with buttermilk until blended.
  3. Coat chicken parts with the breadcrumb mixture, then dip them again in the crumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken in a lightly greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking pan.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the chicken.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
