Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 slices bread
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Cube the bread and place it in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch oblong dish.
  2. Brown the sausage and drain well.
  3. Place the cooked sausage on top of the bread in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix eggs, cream of mushroom soup, and condensed milk, then pour the mixture over the sausage and bread.
  5. Top with shredded sharp Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes in a moderate oven.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
