Tips & Substitutions

For a lighter version, consider using olive oil instead of butter for coating the chicken. You can also substitute the white wine with chicken broth for a non-alcoholic option. If you don't have fresh parsley, dried parsley can work in a pinch, but use about one-third of the amount. Ensure the chicken is pounded to an even thickness for uniform cooking.

Serving Suggestions

This dish pairs beautifully with wild rice, which complements the flavors of the chicken and sauce. For a refreshing side, consider serving it with Red Cabbage With Diced Apples or a light salad. A glass of chilled white wine can enhance the meal experience. For more delicious chicken recipes, browse our collection.

Storage & Reheating

Leftover chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the chicken in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, you can microwave it on low power, but this may affect the crispiness of the coating.
