Ingredients

  • 2 packages dry yeast
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup warm water

Instructions

  2. Cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Dissolve the yeast in warm water; stir in the buttermilk.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just blended.
