Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 oz. milk
  • 1/4 c. parsley
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 10 slices dry bread, crumbled
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 c. wine, Claret or Burgundy

Instructions

  1. Mix all together.
  2. Form into small balls.
  3. Roll in flour and pat flat.
  4. Fry slowly in oil or shortening.
  5. These are good warm or cold, especially around the holidays.
