Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups cake flour
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup crushed nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter until smooth.
  2. Sift together the powdered sugar and cake flour.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed butter, mixing well.
  4. Stir in the vanilla and crushed nuts.
  5. Form the dough into small balls and press down with your thumb or fork.
  6. Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 40 to 50 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar before serving.
