Ingredients

  • 1 baked 9-inch tart shell
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup lite sour cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange flavoring
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 4 kiwi fruits
  • seedless grapes

Instructions

  1. Cool the baked tart shell.
  2. Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water in a medium saucepan and let soften.
  3. Heat the gelatin mixture until dissolved.
  4. Stir in sour cream, powdered sugar, orange flavoring, and a dash of salt.
  5. Cook over low heat until smooth, then remove from heat and cool, stirring occasionally.
  6. When cooled and slightly thickened, whip chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold whipped cream into the gelatin mixture.
  8. Spoon into the prepared tart shell and smooth the top.
  9. Refrigerate until set.
  10. Peel the kiwi fruits and cut them lengthwise into thin slices.
  11. Arrange the kiwi slices on top of the tart and garnish with seedless grapes.
