Ingredients

  • 2 hot peppers
  • frozen peas
  • 6 to 8 slices bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 can shrimp or frozen, precooked
  • 2 to 4 cups cooked rice
  • mushrooms
  • 2 eggs
  • soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon until crispy.
  2. Sauté onion, celery, and mushrooms in bacon grease until tender.
  3. Add cooked rice to a wok or skillet.
  4. Pour in the sautéed mixture and water chestnuts.
  5. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
  6. Add soy sauce, cooked peas, and hot peppers to the mixture.
  7. Stir in beaten eggs and cooked shrimp or water chestnuts.
  8. Serve immediately.
