Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups unsifted flour
  • cardamom or vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until light; gradually add sugar.
  2. Beat in melted butter, salt, flour, and optional cardamom or vanilla.
  3. Put about 1/2 tablespoon of batter on the krumkake iron and bake until lightly browned.
  4. Wrap the hot cookie around a cone-shaped device immediately after baking.
  5. Remove the shaped krumkake when cooled and shaped; repeat with remaining batter.
