A delightful fruit Kuchen with a buttery crust, sweet cinnamon-spiced fruit topping, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert with fresh or mixed berries and stone fruits.

- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Cut in margarine or butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Spread the prepared fruit evenly over the crust.
- In a small bowl, mix 3/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the fruit.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
