Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. medium egg noodles
  • 8 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 6 oz. sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 jar pie cherries

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Cook the medium egg noodles until tender, then drain.
  3. Return the noodles to the pot while still hot.
  4. Add margarine to the hot noodles and stir until melted.
  5. Mix in sugar, vanilla, ricotta cheese, and sour cream until well combined.
  6. Add eggs to the mixture and blend thoroughly.
  7. Pour the mixture into the greased pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes or until set.
  9. Serve topped with pie cherries.
