Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup uncooked oats
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, softened butter, peanut butter, and egg in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
  2. Press the dough evenly into a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  5. Let stand until the chocolate melts, then spread evenly over the top.
