Ingredients

  • 2 small pkg. lime jello
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 small pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 cups of water to boiling.
  2. Dissolve the lime jello in the boiling water, then add 2 cups of cold water, drained crushed pineapple, and chopped nuts. Stir well.
  3. Pour the jello mixture into a flat dish and let it set until firm.
  4. When the jello layer is cold and firm, beat the cream cheese and whipped Dream Whip together until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the set jello layer.
  6. Cook the pineapple juice, flour, sugar, and eggs together until thickened.
  7. Allow the cooked mixture to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, spread it over the cream cheese layer to form the top layer.
