Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. snipped fresh dill
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 salmon fillet (1 1/2 lb.)
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped green onions
  • 1 small lemon, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together dill, lemon-pepper, salt and garlic powder.
  2. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the salmon fillet.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow glass container.
  4. Combine brown sugar, chicken broth, vegetable oil, soy sauce, and chopped green onions in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture over the salmon, ensuring it is well coated.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning once halfway through.
  7. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  8. Place the lemon slices and onion rings on the grill.
  9. Grill the salmon until it flakes easily with a fork, about 4-6 minutes per side depending on thickness.
  10. Serve the grilled salmon garnished with grilled lemon slices and onion rings.
