Ingredients

  • 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Drain the pineapple, reserving the juice.
  2. Dissolve the lime jello in boiling water.
  3. Add the reserved pineapple juice to the dissolved jello.
  4. Cool until slightly thickened, like thick syrup.
  5. Beat the mixture until frothy using an egg beater.
  6. Fold in the pineapple, cottage cheese, mayonnaise, and chopped nuts.
  7. Pour the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch or mold or square pan.
  8. Refrigerate until firm.
