Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh squash
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 oz can mushroom soup
  • 12 oz sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 package Ritz crackers
  • 2 cups cooked chicken

Instructions

  1. Cook squash and onions in melted butter until tender, then mash.
  2. Mix mushroom soup and cooked chicken together.
  3. Layer mashed squash, cooked onions, crushed Ritz crackers, chicken mixture, and grated cheddar cheese in a baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
