Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 pound fully cooked ham, ground
  • 8 ounces lean ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons instant minced onion or fresh minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and shape into 6 (3/4-inch) oval patties.
  2. Stick 3 or 4 whole cloves on top of each patty.
  3. Arrange the patties in a spoke pattern in a 10-inch glass pie plate.
