- Combine egg and brown sugar in a large bowl; beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Beat egg whites (at room temperature) in a medium bowl at high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Fold egg whites into beaten egg mixture.
- Combine flour and next 5 ingredients; add to egg mixture, stirring until well blended.
- Stir in vanilla.
