Ingredients

  • 3 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 loaf white bread, cubed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • hot milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix mashed potatoes, bread cubes, eggs, melted butter, chopped onion, chopped celery, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley flakes in a bowl.
  2. Add hot milk gradually until the mixture is moist but not too wet.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a buttered casserole dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  5. Remove the cover during the last 10 minutes of baking to brown the top.
