Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 chopped bell pepper
  • 2 ribs chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 head cabbage

Instructions

  1. Saute ground beef, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, and chopped celery until the meat is browned.
  2. Remove from heat and add the raw rice.
  3. Season heavily with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer sliced cabbage and meat mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  5. Pour V-8 juice over the top.
  6. Cover and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
