Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2/3 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the egg and milk together.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, quick cooking oats, chopped onion, and salt.
  3. Add the ground beef and mix well until combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  5. Combine ketchup and brown sugar to make a glaze and spread over the top of the loaf.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes or until cooked through.
