Ingredients

- 1 large can crushed tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 (12 oz) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste ⓘ
- 1 3/4 cans beer ⓘ
- 1 bay leaf ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp basil ⓘ
- 1 tsp sugar ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp thyme ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil ⓘ
- 1 large onion ⓘ
- 2 stalks celery ⓘ
- 1 box small mushrooms ⓘ
- 3 to 4 cloves garlic ⓘ
- salt and pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Saute ground turkey in a skillet until cooked through; drain excess fat.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and beer to the skillet.
- Season with crushed bay leaf, oregano, basil, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Saute in olive oil with chopped onion, chopped celery, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic.
- Slowly cook all ingredients together for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over freshly cooked pasta.
