Low Calorie Cabbage Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, boiled and drained
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 c. chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans or green beans
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 2 qt. canned tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in large pot and heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer until all vegetables are cooked and tender. Makes 10 servings of 2 cups each.
