Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Puree the crushed tomatoes until smooth.
  2. Add the sliced green pepper, sliced green onions, finely chopped jalapeno chilies, salt, ground cumin, and chopped garlic to the pureed tomatoes.
  3. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to blend the flavors.
